At Customer Auctus, we recognize that the world is changing fast and it takes a special set of skills to balance where we are vs where we are heading. The New Unicorn - Back in 2014, the term "unicorn" was first used to describe a type of marketer who is tech-savvy. By that time, marketing technology (MarTech) started to move too fast for marketers to continue to rely on IT teams and urgently needed marketing experts (traditionally non-technical) to know both marketing and technology. Today, we need experts who understand GTM strategy and commercial business functions (marketing, sales, customer experience) + technology + AI/ analytics. But because AI is redefining things so quickly, these unicorns also need to be creative in order to imagine a new future.
Creativity with AI - Creativity comes in different forms. It can be aesthetic, but it can also be structural, analytical, or lateral. It may seem creativity is time-consuming, and with AI, a little creativity can go a long way to not only transform products and services, but also to change processes, technology architectures, data models, and even cultures for the better.
